Rates & Insurance

  • Regular Marriage Counseling Session Rate:

    • $150 PER 50-MINUTE SESSION (I schedule sessions with couples weekly or every other week, based on specific needs.)

  • Extended Marriage Counseling Session Rates:

    • $225 PER 80-MINUTE SESSION (I typically suggest a 80-minute session for the first visit in order to cover more ground right out of the gate but it's totally up to you.)

  • My sole practice niche is working with couples on positive relational changes. All of my advanced Gottman Couples Therapy training is grounded in therapeutic strategies specific to the betterment of relationships. I only work with couples at this time and I currently see clients in-person during the day. I don’t have evening or weekend appointment options.

  • I am an out of network provider.  My clients pay the session fee out of pocket at the end of each session. If requested, I provide a monthly receipt/super bill for them to submit to their insurance for potential reimbursement for marriage counseling sessions. For more details, please call your insurance regarding information about the marriage counseling coverage that you may have for out of network mental health services. Unfortunately more often than not, marriage counseling is not covered by insurance.

  • You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
